My typical Xmas in Kch

Well, shame to me because I fell asleepp too early on xmas eve, around 10pm. May be too tired waiting for santa to come. Anyway, the last few days before xmas was a long marathon of party and food. Lots of it. Non stop eating. Well I no longer can eat as much as I used to be. Much less compared to last time. Barbeque chicken for two days. I invited my high school friends over and my sister invited her friends. When any of you in Kch sure can have party at my grams house coz got large open area for car and can barbeque for as long as you want. Oso got maid to help for preparation and cleaning up. So don't worry bout get dirty.
So my typical xmas day is going to church in the early morning. Well this year I broke the record because I didn't fell asleep during the sermon. May be sleep too much the night before. Then, we went to my mum's friends open house. A native couple who are vey religious. Well we always get to taste some new wine at his house. The last time drank tuak until I got drunk. I still can remember eating the most hot chili at his house until tears come out and have to drink warm water to cool down. I really like the ayam pansoh or bamboo chicken which is really delicious. Now very rare to find because people seldom cook it. And the river tortoise, phython and other exotic food like wild boar which he is good at cooking. Anyway he is a very wise men who like to travel as his job requires it. Health inspector for any disease in SWK. I really enjoy my previous trip with him to Bintulu. It was really an adventure. Next time should go to the Durian orchard in Lundu.
Well after that, we went to the church's boys home for a dinner. My mum grew up in an orphanage in salvation army. Thats why she still work there after bout more than 30 years in service. She say we must always be thankful for what we receive and try to give back what we received. Anyway this year wasn't as merry as when my mum's friend was the officer. They moved to KL. Last time was really fun. All sorts of food including turkey, icecreams, and a lot more dishes. I still remember that last tiem we would have show after dinner and then we have some dancing moment as the couple was from England. Really nice fun time as he would do ball dance and also some hip hop ones. we really dance and play till our heart drop. The countdown was something that we always wish for the next year. Well things change and we must move on. Happy xmas to everyone and have a blessed xmas.
